Vitafoods Europe and Nutrition Capital Network Partner

09 Apr 2014 --- Vitafoods Europe, the global nutraceutical event, and Nutrition Capital Network (NCN) are partnering to offer companies operating in the nutrition, health and wellness industry unparalleled business opportunities ahead of this year’s exhibition in Geneva.

On 5 May 2014, NCN will be staging its first ever European Investor meeting, offering innovative companies specialising in nutritional science, ingredients, technology and health and wellness the opportunity to apply to secure investment, acquisition, or corporate partnerships for technology development, commercialisation, clinical trials, distribution or licensing.

Of those that apply, between eight and 12 successful organisations will be invited to present their business to an audience of 30-40 Cornerstone and European-based investors, including Abbott Labs, DSM, Herbalife, Kerry Group, Seventure and Tate & Lyle Ventures, with an opportunity for one-on-one meetings afterwards.

NCN Europe will focus on science, ingredients and technology related to nutrition and health and wellness. Finished product companies in consumer health, supplements or functional and natural and organic foods will also be considered as presenters. The organisation is now accepting applications from companies interested in presenting their business plans at the meeting. Applying is free, but accepted presenters pay a €1,000 fee that includes business plan and presentation review by one or more of NCN’s selection committee mentors, introduction to multiple attendees at the meeting and key investors, and follow-up.
